In a nutshell

Well so much for keeping up the the "blog" i am mostly on facebook. Let's see, well Morgan started first grade and Landen was doing preschool,but we are going to stop sending him to the co-op. We are going home to new Mexico for the hollidays and for Ken's friends wedding. We will be gone about 3 weeks. JCGMFA stuff is the same, same people doing the same stuff-blah!I have ran a few more 5k's and an 8k. Morgan had his 6th birthday in August and Landen has his 4th birthday in Nov.We have about 7 months here(can you hear me rejoycing). I have had 2 surgeries,whiin a few days apart yadda yadda yadda. Just more than anything anxious to find out where we will be headed next. I need to defrost! That about raps all this up for a few months!

OK so it has been a really long time since I have updated this. Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, my 30th birthday, Ken's and my 7th anniversary, Easter, and the 4th and has come and gone! All were great! We are down to our last year here in Juneau! (Thank you Lord). Morgan finished his first year in school and is now on his way to the first grade. Landen will be starting pres-school this next year. ken has travled to all sorts of places, HI, NM, CA and the list goes on. Morgan wrestled this past winter and had a great time. On to swimming lessons this summer! i have been just doing the same old same old. Ran a couple of 5k races. Well one was actually longer-almost 5 miles throughchannel at low tide(low tide my butt, the water at times came to my croch)what was I thinking!! The other was a fun run that I did with some friends called "only fools run at midnight". It is a themed run, so we did totaly 80's. I am still invovled with the JCGMFA. That is about it! Hopefully I can keep up with ths! Thanks Shon for reminding me!!

Halloween 2008

Halloween 2008 was great this year. Morgan and Landen understood what was going on. We went to the "malls" here to do our trick or treating. Yes the "malls" if that is what you want to call them. It makes since here in Juneau. Not many actual neiborhoods around here that are well lit and have sidwalks, and than there is the wounderful Juneau weather, so the best dry, and safe place are the "malls". Morgan was Optimus Prime and Landen was Alvin. I made Landen's costume. Next year I will make both there costumes. The prices of costumes these days are rediculous! We went to a friends house afterwards. We had a great night overall!

Hey Everyone -So let's see Today was sorybook dress up day at Morgan's school(no school tommarow-inservice) so Morgan was Optimus Prime with cowboy boots. He wears them all the time! This week has been much of a relaxed week for me. Today we actually have sunshine, it is still cold but we got out anyway. Landen rode his"motorcyle"(powerwheel) and I walked with our friends Elise and her son Ethan. I want to wish a belated Happy Birthday to my friend Alisha! She turned the big 30 a couple of days ago! I am right behind her!

I wanna wish Brenda and Paul a Happy Anniversary!! Landen is getting ready to turn 3 on the 8th of nov.

I went ahead and threw a little eye candy in for us ladies! I REALLY like Jason Statham! Oh and one last thing! GO MCCAIN/PALIN!! Oh and take a look at this video it's about our troops!

Well I FINALLY settled on making a Griffith Family blog Thanks to all my friends/family that have them. I am still trying to figure how to do this and get stuff set up. I thought I was doing it right and no it was just my profile. So Now I just gotta figure out how to set pics and so on. Where to start!

Today is my seesters 32nd birthday! Happy Birthday SEESTERS! Morgan had his first feild trip to DIPAC today! He had an awsome time. I didn't go as I am busy at home sewing Halloween costumes. This year Morgan is going to be Optimus Prime. Landen is going to be Alvin from alvin and the chipmunks and i am going to be Mint Tulip From strawberry shortcake and friends. Kenny well he is going to be Alaskan Ken!
Morgan is really loving school, especially the ridding the bus. His speech has improved a great deal and is no longer in need of going to speech! He is playing indoor soccer and scored his first goal this pat saterday, but it was for the other team! LOL! It is sooo fun watching him!
Landen is enjoing the mommy and Landen time we have when Morgan is at school, but still can't wait for Morgan to come home from school. He is getting so BIG! He has been completly pottytrainned since mid august. He just did it cold turky! I donated all the diapers and he just wore underwear. It seemed to work for him! Landen speaks so well, Kenny and I are amazed at how much he says. He is bossy and knows it! He is rough and fearless! But he is still a VERY loving little boy!
Kenny well Kenny is till Kenny, fishing and doing all that boy stuff! Since he lost his fishing/hunting/beer drinking/homebrew/other man stuff buddy(ahmm Jay)he has settled with having to play his PS3 which he just got for his birthday. And he just hates playing that! He is doing as well as can be expected here in Juneau!
I am busy this year. I am VP of the Juneau Coast Guard Military Family Association. I also volunteer on tuesday mornings in Morgans class. Coffee with the ladies keeps me going in Juneau. I have also started selling Mary Kay, www.marykay.com/rebeccagriffith go and have a looksy!As you all might know I am not fond of it here and the only thing I will miss when I leave are the great frinds I have made here!!
